Dashboard

The Dashboard is your landing page on Canvas. It gives you an overview of what's going on across all of your courses. 

On the Dashboard, you can find:

• Your current courses;
• Recent grades / feedback;
• Upcoming deadlines (your "To Dos");
• Announcements, notifications, and other recent activity.

Global Navigation

You can always return to the Dashboard by selecting the Dashboard icon   in the navigation menu. This navigation bar is called the Global Navigation because it is always there, no matter what page you're on in Canvas. It links you to areas of Canvas that are "global," i.e. they don't refer to one course in particular but rather your entire Canvas account.
