Description:

Community Access to the Arts (CATA) is a Berkshire-based organization dedicated to nurturing and celebrating the creativity of people with disabilities, especially people with developmental and intellectual disabilities, elders with Alzheimers and dementia, and people with acquired or traumatic brain injuries. CATA believes that creativity can be embraced by all of us, but this vision for inclusion takes work. Join us to learn how CATA activates its mission in our community and to discuss how the arts can foster inclusion and give us access to stories and perspectives we might not otherwise see. Attendees will explore the work of CATA artists in dance, acting, painting, poetry, and more.
